What Would Happen if Asteroid 2012 DA14 Hit Earth?
The structure of this article is from general to detailed because it give more details about the asteroid towards the middle of the article. The tone of the article is interested becasue I think that the person writing it was interested in it or they wouldn't have wrote it. The article is explaining about the meteore that came close to hitting earth. They also tell about what would have happened if it would have hit it.

I would say this is actually more of a topical organization for this one. The beginning was still pretty specific, and the author went on to explain different related facts and meteors without getting more specific or less specific.
ReplyDeleteInterested is not inaccurate for the tone, but I don't think it captures the full feeling. I'd say it is almost reassuring in its methodical breakdown of the reality of the relative frequency of meteor impacts and how minor their actual effects are.
Where are the supporting details? What conclusions can we draw about, say, our safety or what to do about meteors?
